The project
STPLN Interdisciplinary program is a European Solidarity Corps project organised annually by STPLN in Malmö, Sweden. Communication and Community Impact is the theme of this year's ESC project. The project is a ten-month (September to June) ESC experience for three young, aspiring European creatives to gain experience working within the Creative and Cultural Industries. Volunteers will form an in-house interdisciplinary creative team tasked with various communication-related activities utilising a range of mediums and techniques.
At STPLN, curiosity and boldness are valued. Volunteers will be part of something unique, where they will create, build, and develop. Possessing an open mind, willingness to collaborate, listen, and contribute ideas and suggestions is crucial. Through this project, volunteers will acquire the capacity and experience to pursue careers in the creative industries. Upon completion of the project, volunteers will depart with an outstanding portfolio of projects and the ability to develop clear and effective communication campaigns for diverse purposes.

Our Organisation
Stapelbädden (STPLN) is a production house located in the southern Swedish city of Malmö. The house is open to creative projects in the social, cultural and creative sector. It contains workshops, studios, event facilities, and shared offices where individuals, groups and organisations can realise their ideas. In addition to the facilities, STPLN offers a creative incubator and residency for Malmö's free culture life. Projects at STPLN range from short temporary workshops, seminars, or exhibitions to long-term residence projects developed in the house for several years. What is common for the projects is that they span across the genres of art and culture, technology and design, crafts, and education. The organization has just moved to a new building, which means a blank canvas that needs to be filled with new initiatives and projects. As we go through this transition, it is important for us to have a strong community and to create a space that will invite new faces. As a volunteer, you will help with building and opening up new creative opportunities, welcoming new audiences, and promoting more sustainable practices. You are also expected to handle some administrative activities at the front desk of the space. You will have a supportive team that values your contributions and fosters an inclusive atmosphere at STPLN.
